Developed following extensive research by several NHS trusts, infection containment PPE packs are for emergency use during pandemic outbreaks such as SARS and avian influenza ('bird flu').

 Why use Kits?

  • Research of infection outbreaks found that on many occasions qualified staff were delayed from intervening during the critical early stages due to partial availability of PPE.
  • This resulted in greater spreading of infection and the exposure of more key staff to higher levels of risk.
  • Infections spread further as a direct result of the failure to dispose of used PPE correctly by those dealing with outbreaks.
