GreenValet have announced an important new addition to their extensive range of clinical, domestic and general purpose waste bags. The new bags make use of Star Seal technology, designed to prevent overfilling and reduce spillages.

The new bags are being demonstrated for the first time at the IPS (Infection Prevention Society) conference and exhibition, taking place in Brighton this week and have already generated considerable interest.

Star Seals will be available immediately on all grades of GreenValet Yellow and Orange bags. Orange bags are used for clinical waste destined for alternative treatment and are being introduced to address environmental concerns over emissions from incineration, as required by the new Department of Health guidelines on safe management of healthcare waste. GreenValet are one of the first clinical waste bag suppliers with orange bags meeting new labeling regulations.
